Background to the research project

The overall goal of the project is to fill the gap in existing management fundamentals and teaching by proposing alternative content, new tools and pedagogical models. Innovative pedagogical methods will be developed and tested in interdisciplinary and intercultural settings using digital, blended and face-to-face approaches. A program of four courses will be created for the master's program: an online course on "Management for the Digital Age," a business game, a blended learning course on "Innovation in Positive Management," and a study program for positive managers. The developed teaching formats will be introduced to six European universities as part of the ERASMUS+ program.

Research Goal

Innovative, digital teaching and learning formats are to be developed, applied across Europe and evaluated. In the process, students will learn about new aspects of management and deepen their self-reflection skills via a peer review process.

Benefits, innovation contribution and application possibilities of the research project

The Europe-wide introduction of the four teaching and learning formats enables an international exchange of knowledge and the large-scale teaching of new aspects of management. The testing and evaluation of new teaching and learning formats on the one hand advances digital teaching and on the other hand the critical self-evaluation and self-reflection of students. Internationally applicable and evaluated teaching and learning formats are created.
